Due the need to process free live satellite mapthe imagery that satellites acquire, the ability to produce real-time topographic maps cannot be done.
The Army's Buck Eye system free live satellite mapcan do comparatively small areas, but the sensor package is not satellite-based. Buck Eye data is not available to the public.
