I was going to go on a double date with this guy I like. We're only fifteen and can't drive, so I was going to pick him up at his house and we were going to go to the movies. He told me he was going to ask his mom if he could go (I was the one who asked him if he wanted to go). I texted him earlier tonight and this is how the conversation went:
Me: hey did you find out if you can go tomorrow?
him: I don't think I can
Me: Ooh oi did on himk
him: sorry
me: it's fine,,,maybe some other time
him: yeah hopefully
So what do you think of all of this? I know he really wanted to go because he seemed pretty excited when I asked him at school today. But idk...I'm confused.
he wasnt able to go.. I know when I was 15, my mom didnt let me go anywhere lol, dont worry about it
Two reasons:
1) If it wasn't wishful thinking on your part that he was excited to go, then his Mom or i did on himparent person probably told him he couldn't go out. So don't worry about it. Ask him if he can go out another time. If he rejects you again, then it's ...
2) Some guys don't want to hurt a girl's feelings. So they kind of get caught up when speaking to them. So if you ask them to hang, they'll say yes and bail out last second. It's annoying, but it's true.
