I've been wanting an iPad and I'm considering buying an iPad 2 for myself, and the original iPad from a friend for my mother. My friend is asking $300 for the original iPad with minimal use and she's throwing in an Otterbox case. Is this a good price?
Yes. Even if it's a 16g size one it's still a smokin deal. Since your friend is selling it's probably safe to assume ioriginal ipadt was well taken care off. A search for Ebay and other used shopping sited are going for 350 and up. You never really know what condition it's in so buying from a friend is the way to go. I'd say go for it. Check Ebay and Craigslist to get a better feel for what they are going for. These sites will have all sorts of sizes for you to compare. Also you will feel original ipadlike you got a good deal once you see some of the prices people are charging for a used ipad 1.
Thats a great price with the new ios 5 coming out you should be able to do everything an iPad 2 can do.
